A healthy workplace supported by mindfulness serves both the workers and the economy (Good et al., 2016)
Developing Staff Health, Wellbeing, Focus and Performance.
Mindfulness training is scientifically proven to decrease stress, anxiety and depression. It is a highly effective mental skills training for increasing focus, concentration, memory and workplace relationships by physically affecting how the brain responds to present moment experience.
In many countries there is a rising toll of work-related mental health problems, with high levels of absenteeism and presenteeism, where people turn up to work but are not productive (Feldman & Kuyken, 2019). There is growing evidence that mindfulness is associated with staff well-being, skilled leadership and the effectiveness of organisations (Good et al., 2016; Wolever et al.,2012).
Workshops, Webinars, Conferences & Courses
The key insight is that mindfulness training provides a way to understand the human mind. A way of responding, at least in part, to some of the world’s most pressing challenges (Feldman & Kuyken, 2019).
Workshops offer staff a meaningful understanding of mindfulness and practical strategies for how to incorporate mindfulness into daily life, at work and home. The tools to build better relationships, decrease stress and increase performance.

Organization & Business Reviews
I really enjoyed our Mindfulness session with Jakki, it was great delivery for a mixed group with some that had never tried mindfulness before and others that had. The time spent connecting to our breath and body, being aware that our thoughts are just thoughts – not facts, and taking the time to be still was really nourishing…I felt really strong and energised after and would definitely recommend…I found it so helpful as a way to connect with my thoughts and process them better and I think learning these techniques further would really help me to recognise thoughts so I can deal with them before they turn into problems!
Review from the GB Olympic Trampolinists provided by:
During the crazy time of Coronavirus lockdown, I came across Jakki through a mutual friend in Ruddington. As I work with the British Para-Swimming team, I thought that it could be a great opportunity to engage the swimmers in some group self-care and positive wellbeing strategies. The swimmers are used to the concept of Mindfulness, having done it before on camps, but Jakki really took it to the next level with her knowledge and experience of exercise and made it really relatable to them.
All of the swimmers and staff members who attended gave me really positive feedback and one said “I loved mindfulness, the best session I have done. Found it really beneficial”’
We have used Jakki on numerous occasions for mindfulness workshops and more recently meditation sessions for our employees at our head Office as part of our wellbeing and mental health strategy.
Jakki provides a safe, non-judgmental environment that is calm and welcoming. Our staff were provided with the tools to enable them to carry out home meditation in a variety of forms, seated or lying down.
With regards to the mindfulness the workshops enable our employees to grasp a better understanding of the kind of thoughts they have and how to better deal with them.
